About Me

Mariel Zinman is an emerging multidisciplinary artist from Toronto, Canada. She is a recent graduate of the Drawing and Painting department at OCAD University, with an emphasis on public installation and performance. Her work speaks on topics of cultural identity, diaspora, and freedom of expression. Mariel has studied abroad at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel-Palestine. She is currently based in Toronto, and is involved in various community arts initiatives in both Canada and around the globe.
